means you can use it for whatever you want, as long as you don't SELL
or GIVE it away.
Club Toaster Technical Support
------------------------------
Since Club Toaster is a software product we will offer some limited
technical support. We have gone to great lengths to make the software
easy to use and self-explanitory. The large number of Club Toaster
members forces us to limit our technical support to Club Toaster content
ONLY.
We will not answer questions on CD-Rom Drivers, CD-Rom Drives, Toasters,
Flyers, Copying files, Workbench, etc.... Please help us out by calling
only as a last resort. If you discover a problem with a certain file it
is highly likely that another member as informed us. In these cases we
will correct the problem on future issues.

Getting Started
To make navigating through the content on the CD a little easier we have
included an easy to use interface. Amiga 2000 and 3000 users double-
click on CLUBTOASTER.A2000 icon. Amiga 4000 users double-click on
CLUBTOASTER.A4000 icon.
Amiga 4000 owners: If the Club Toaster interface does not come up after
double clicking. Do the following:
1. Go into your Workbench/Prefs
2. Double-click on Screenmode
3. Press SAVE
4. Double-click on Overscan
5. Press SAVE
6. Now try loading Club Toaster again.
Once loaded you will notice that the main screen has many buttons that
lead to the different sections of the CD. The interface is meant to show
what is on the CD. The actual content is located in directories on the
CD.

Things to know:
Animations and Moving Backgrounds ---
These are provided in PAR (Personal Animation Recorder) and FLYER
formats. In the future we will try when possible to provide the
Lightwave scene files use to make the animations and moving
backgrounds so that you can alter and render to the format of choice.
Par and Flyer owners should copy the correct Animation and
Backgrounds to your Flyer and Par Harddrives. NOTE: The animations
will not play from the CD or a regular hard drive.
Objects -
This months objects must be installed. Go into the Information
subsection of the Object section to find the install utilities.
Jurassic Collection - A file requestor will appear asking you to
locate the Toaster/3d/Images directory or the
Newtek/Programs/3d/Images directory. Please do
this and press OK. Please free 5 megs of hard
drive space.
Wedding Collection - Two file requestors will appear the first
one is just like the Jurassic Collection (see
above). The second ask where to you want to
install the OBJECTS. You have the choice of
selecting a directory in which to place the objects
or to cancel and load objects from the CD.
Please free 5 megs of hard drive space if you
install to hard drive.
Once the install is finished the Jurassic SCENE files will be
located in your 3d/Scenes directory.
We have not tested these objects with Lightwave 4.0 PC yet. If
any problems arise we will issue the Objects again in Lightwave
4.0 format.
Next month look for The New Cathedral, 1967 Vette, and other objects.
Grab Bag -
Composite Studio
A complete transcript of the manual is provided in the Grab Bag
section. It is recommended that you print the manual out. Also
composite studio itself has an online help that will give some
assistance.

Flyer and 4.0 Owners - Version 1.1 is NOT 100% compatible with
the new ToasterPaint some of the Arexx commands
were changed. If you plan to use Composite 1.1
it is recommened that you install your old 2.0
or 3.1 ToasterPaint and ToasterPaint Support files
to your Newtek/Programs dir. Be sure to backup or
rename the 4.0 Files.
Club Toaster members who wish to upgrade to the all new
Composite Studio Pro at a special price call 1-800-525-2203.
The new version works with all version of ToasterPaint
(2.0,3.0,4.0)
INSTALL: Go to the Composite Studio subsection located in the Grab
Bag. Hit the install C.Studio button. Choose the directory
where you wish to place the program and press ok.
Music: This months music is provided by Token Video Productions in
8svx, Studio 16, and Flyer formats. In the future music
selections may be in CD AUDIO format so that everyone can take
advantage of this great music.
Studio 16 AD1012 users should select either the right or left
channel for mono playback. Files are denoted with a _L or a
_R, indicating left or right channel.
Wipes
Color AGA Wipes - These wipes are for A4000 Toaster owners ONLY.
They will not work on a A2000 system.
Mono Wipes - These wipes can be used by all Toaster Systems
3.1 and 4.0
Toaster 3.1 Users - Copy the 3.0 effects into your Toaster/Effects
drawer. Also copy the Project file located on the CD in
the the Project Directory to your Project directory on
your hard drive.
Then Rename the project files, replacing the _
(underscore) with a . (period)
Then load the project into your switcher to use.
Toaster 4.0 Users - Copy the 4.0 effects anywhere you want to or use
them from the CD. Please note that some of the COLOR
wipes are quite large and may take time to load from CD.
Textures, Graphic Boards, Brushes, etc...
These files are located in there respective directories on the CD.
